Solar Item, differently from conventional panels, can be walked. On every side of the edge, a path ready to step on without any trouble is formed. This is a favorable aspect for an easy setup and, besides, an easier maintenance, taking other panels into account.

Solar Item has no risk of break and/ or oxidation by heavy rain, wind, storms or just by sheer contact with the exterior, as it is made of stainless steel, a long-endurance element, also having a protecting layer of paint applied as poder at high temperatures.

Besides, circuits where heat-carrier liquid circulates and where this one connects one panel with another, are inside, so there is no risk of damage by outside contact.

Regarding icing risks, it is important to underline that liquid circulating inside the solar cover is not the same as the one we use for consumption. The fluid circulating in the primary circuit has antifreeze element, propilenglicol, which allows it to endure low temperatures without risk of freezing. This heat-carrier liquid transfers acquired heat to the accumulator and, afterwards, that heat is transferred to the water we consume.

Yes, it is the perfect product for this kind of installation; this way, we may prolong the pool’s active season.

Solar Item is a cover which integrates the solar collector. That’s why we recommend the installment of our product when this one must fulfill its double functionality (cover and solar collector), as this way we obtain the maximum profitability.

For all these reasons, we may say that it’s possible to set it up on a pre-existing cover but we don’t recommend it because it doesn’t fulfill the main function: be a cover.

In the budget given to the customer, it includes the setup of the Solar Item panels, the connection between panels and the complete go and return circuits; the filling of heat-carrier liquid, system start and connection to the rest of the existing primary circuit. In the case when the customer does not have primary circuit, it may be supplied and will be budgeted separately.

Solar Item is a closing panel, having a 6cm-wide layer of high density rock which assures the thermal isolation of the cover and cooperates in the acoustic isolation.

• Being an only building element with double function (cover and solar collector) the price of this product is cheaper than having to bear, as it’s been done so far, the cost of the cover, on the one side, and the solar collector, on the other side.
• Besides supplying, as all solar collectors, a high % of savings in the gas and electricity bills (savings oscillate between 65% and 85% of annual billing overall.)

Solar collectors does not only gather sunrays on sunny days; radiation spread no clouded days is also useful but, obviously, at a less scale than optimal circumstances.

In this respect, during the bad weather spells, the accumulator is responsable for maintaining water to constant temperatura without significant losses of temperatura. Besides, Solar Item, as any given system of energy capture, has a heater as support to reach the optimal temperature in water for the right consumption.

The primary circuit gathers all of the needed elements to gather solar energy andtake it to the accumulator-exchanger from heat to water: connection between panels, go and back system circuits; heat-carrier liquid, air-vents, bombs, manometers, drills, controlling centre, accumulator exchanger, etc.

The secondary circuit gathers all of the necessary elements to take warm water to the temperature required by the use selected, health or heating: supporting boiler which will rise to the desired temperature according to the use and the rest of circuits and elements completing the common facilities of health and heating.

Thermal energy is the transformation of radiating solar energy into heat, which transports a liquid and cedes it to water. The installation of thermal solar collector allows to gather solar energy and heat the liquid; this one will heat water of an accumulating deposit until it reaches the right temperature given by its use.

Solar Item is ideal for any given structure that needs a cover. It is necessary this cover receives solar radiation.

The most common uses of our solar cover are:

• Private houses or lodging buildings to provide health warm water and heating.
• Industrial facilities. These ones may consume health warm water and heating for the production and industrializatino producing processes. They may acquire the right temperature according to their needs.
• Ideal to heat water in swimming pools and locker romos. Installing Solar Item on the pool cover (if conditioned) or on the adjoining buildings. It may enlarge the season from May to September in open-air pools (both private and public) and cooperate over the year in heating water in conditioned pools.

Solar Item is perfect for all new buildings or refurbished.

Since the approval of the Technical Code of Building in Spain, as of September 26th 2006, to the newly built and refurbished buildings for any given use, in which there is the need of health warm water and/ or covered pools conditioning, they must have a minimum contribution of solar energy. Therefore, it is compulsory they have solar energy installed.

Solar Item doesn’t have the risk of overheating as the layer exposed to the exterior is not made of glass and, therefore, there is no greenhouse effect. Having so much surface of contact with the exterior environment, it gathers heat rapidly. The panel temperature doesn’t reach more than 85ªC. Therefore, it is not necessary the use of heat dissipaters, and the contact with the breeze works as natural dissipater.
